NorAm was incorporated in late 1992 by Eric Mueller and Ted West, former senior managers of Fiatallis North America, to market the Fiatallis model 65B compact motor grader throughout North America. The name "NorAm" was derived from the "North American" territory that we initially covered.
Our company's success was attributed to the development of a strong dealer network throughout key markets of the continent. Since NorAm was not aligned with an exclusive manufacturer, we were able to work with various main line dealers with accounts such as Case, Caterpillar, Deere, Fiatallis, JCB, Komatsu, and others.
NorAm launched the new articulated Fiatallis FG65C in 1995, which fully integrated big motor grader features into a compact motor grader. The new model was built on a totally new frame with many upgrades such as torque proportioning rear axle, rugged articulation joint as featured on wheel loaders, box frame goose neck, hose routing through frame, front mounting for attachments, six speed "on-the-go" powershift transmission with torque converter, and much more. The time proven gear driven circle of the "B" series was expanded to 53" with 360º rotation supported by an "A" frame. Customer acceptance was outstanding and sales volumes hit record levels.
In 2004, NorAm's manufacturing partner, Weiler, purchased the manufacturing rights of the grader from CNH. The machine’s name was changed to incorporate NorAm with the established 65 series... thus the "NorAm 65E" new and improved motor grader was introduced in the spring of 2004. The improvements included increased horsepower with the 110 hp Cummins engine, high capacity ZF transmission with electronic shift control, standard air-ride seat, and other modifications to make a great grader even better!

Arrick Robotics was founded by Roger Arrick in 1987 after the personal computer accessory market became dominated by the far east which stunted the growth of Arrick Computer Products - a maker of switch boxes and power control products since 1980.
The first product offered was the MD-2 motor control system which was a subsystem of a robot arm that was being developed. The MD-2 became popular with users of telescopes for computer controlled positioning then expanded into factory automation and research projects via the Personal Computing Tools catalog. Over the years positioners were added to broaden the product line.

In the mid-90's, Roger decided that there was a small market for mobile robots and the first Trilobot was designed. These were mainly sold to Universities for research projects. Later, Trilobot was given a complete update with improved sensors, a gripper, etc. Today, Trilobots are also used in High-School labs throughout the US, and have been seen on TV, in magazines, and on the front page of Scientific American's web site.

In the late 90's Roger developed ARobot which is a lower-cost robot intended for hobbyists and educators. Wiley Publishing asked Roger to write 'Robot Building for Dummies' in 2002 and the book was released in 2003. The book is focused around expanding ARobot to include speech, video and other devices. ARobot has been featured in magazines, on the front cover of Edmund Scientific's catalog, and is popular among robot builders world-wide.
