jawa-cz
The reason Jawa stopped the development of the 500cc four-stroke was due to production difficulties. A shame from technical viewpoint, but economically understandable. The new look was two new side cabins and a third one under the buddyseat. The wheel suspension was hydraulic shock absorbers with long stroke for both front and rear wheels. In 1954 the new 250 cc and 350 cc went into production as Jawa-Cz. Shortly after introduction, these motorcycles were given the nickname kyvacka (swing). The official model was Jawa-Cz 353 and 354. From these motorcycles Jawa-Cz also made lighter versions like a 125cc and a 175cc. The increase of the spring stroke lead to the decrease of the wheel size from 19" to 16". When the Soviet Union became a market, the production concentrated on the Jawa 354, that had a sidecar available. At that time the almighty communist president of Czechoslovakia, Novotny said socialists don't drive motorcycles. In spite of all this and the entrance of the Japanese motorcycles, Jawa still survived. It wasn't easy because of the changing market, and an economy that has suffered a lot from almost fifty years of communist economics.

cybermotorcycle
About us
Cybermotorcycle.com is a collection of articles, letters and emails about European Motorcycles - the result of research and correspondence dating back to 1994. The site now encompasses pages on over 1500 different marques with numerous galleries containing tens of thousands of images of contemporary, vintage, veteran and classic cub motorbikes and scooters, sidecars and minicars.
There are several active forums on specific British, Italian and German motorcycles with a host of resources for restorers and historians.
Although by no means comprehensive, and certainly not authoritative, the site continues to collect information at a prodigious rate. If you need information or have some to share, talk to us!

ecomodder
About
by admin
Ecomodding is what “green gearheads” do – and Ecomodder.com is where we gather to share information and gain inspiration.
We’re passionate about efficiency. “High performance” means miles per gallon, not miles per hour.
We’re interested in vehicle mods & tweaks that improve fuel economy. To name just a few examples: weight reduction, better aerodynamics, improved gear ratios.
We’re also serious about adjusting the nut behind the wheel. Ecomodders often apply super-efficient driving techniques, also known as hypermiling or eco-driving.
People are drawn to ecomodding for many reasons…
The “eco” in ecomodder suggests concern for the environment & conservation;
But “eco” also points to the economic factor – the desire to save money through reduced energy consumption;
Many are concerned with issues surrounding energy independence & security;
In true gearhead fashion, some enjoy the considerable technical/mechanical challenge of improving a machine & its driver;
And some revel in the sheer sport of it! Squeezing the greatest distance from the least amount of fuel is an ongoing game against ourselves and other like-minded efficiency enthusiasts.
Of course, no two ecomodders are alike. People bring different combinations of interests & motivations, and there’s a place at Ecomodder.com for the full spectrum.

scorpionmotorsports
Scorpion P6s meet all DOT and EPA requirements for motorcycles in the United States.
Regulations for cars in the Untied States have made cars over weight. Other countries such as UK have “light car” markets which allow for weekend toys such as Caterham super 7,Ariel Atom, ktm X-bows, and the campagna T-Rex. The US has no such category, but allows a window surrounding 3 wheeled motorcycles. 3 wheeled motorcycles can be built as light weight cars and registered as motorcycles allowing for a street legal car that is truly unrivaled in terms of
performance in this country.

Can-Am
The winning spirit
Can-Am all-terrain ATVs and Sside-by-side vehicles and the Can-Am Spyder roadster are the embodiment of BRP’s ability to redefine any market it takes on.
In 2007 BRP set out to conquer the open road – the company’s last frontier. Its Can-Am Spyder roadster has since been turning heads the world over. Better still, this vehicle has changed the way motorsports enthusiasts see their driving experience. With its Y-Factor geometry and onboard technologies (especially the stability and traction control systems), it offers a unique experience: the thrill of a motorcycle, the peace-of-mind of a convertible.
In the late 1990s, our designers and engineers also took the all-terrain vehicle world by storm. They were the first to equip ATVs with the TTI rear suspension, offering superior comfort in any conditions thanks to the unique placement of the two independent pivot points. They were also the first to offer a manufacturer-approved ATV for two people. In combining maximum power, handling and traction, Can-Am ATVs are the choice of enthusiasts and professionals – who drive them right to the podium.
In 2010, we launched the Can-Am Commander the most versatile side-by-side in the industry, with a powerful 85-hp Rotax 1000 V-Twin engine, an industry exclusive dual-level cargo box and other unique features that makes Can-Am, the brand with no compromise.
With Can-Am ATVs, side-by-side vehicles and roadsters, BRP is carrying on a long tradition of conquests. More than 30 years ago, the world discovered the Can-Am brand through revolutionary motocross bikes. BRP has since withdrawn from that market, but the Can-Am legend and winning spirit live on - with passion and exhilaration.
BRP Corporate Brochure
At BRP, we aim to create innovative products that move the powersports world. This vision is shared by our employees who have continued this tradition for over 60 years, bringing you the best recreational experience on snow, on water, on the road and off.

kollmorgen
More than five decades ago, we developed the direct drive technology that enables some of today’s most remarkably innovative machines.
We helped engineers build the first self-contained artificial heart. Our end-to-end onsite engineering resulted in China’s first air-jet loom for manufacturing, and we’ve been a pioneer in hybrid motor technology for transportation for two decades.
Our infrastructure, our intellectual knowledge, our passion and experience are testament to our pursuit of motion excellence. And because of our heritage of customization, we see opportunities, not obstacles.
Every day, around the world, we push the boundaries of motion.
Here’s how we do it.
