Ever since J.-A. Bombardier founded the company in 1942, our name has been synonymous with quality and creativity. His pioneering spirit is a legacy that has kept us growing and exploring new frontiers. Today, in the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific, almost 7,500 people are keeping the Bombardier spirit alive in all of our recreational vehicles and products.

Can-Am
The winning spirit
Can-Am all-terrain ATVs and Sside-by-side vehicles and the Can-Am Spyder roadster are the embodiment of BRP’s ability to redefine any market it takes on.

In 2007 BRP set out to conquer the open road – the company’s last frontier. Its Can-Am Spyder roadster has since been turning heads the world over. Better still, this vehicle has changed the way motorsports enthusiasts see their driving experience. With its Y-Factor geometry and onboard technologies (especially the stability and traction control systems), it offers a unique experience: the thrill of a motorcycle, the peace-of-mind of a convertible.

In the late 1990s, our designers and engineers also took the all-terrain vehicle world by storm. They were the first to equip ATVs with the TTI rear suspension, offering superior comfort in any conditions thanks to the unique placement of the two independent pivot points. They were also the first to offer a manufacturer-approved ATV for two people. In combining maximum power, handling and traction, Can-Am ATVs are the choice of enthusiasts and professionals – who drive them right to the podium.

In 2010, we launched the Can-Am Commander the most versatile side-by-side in the industry, with a powerful 85-hp Rotax 1000 V-Twin engine, an industry exclusive dual-level cargo box and other unique features that makes Can-Am, the brand with no compromise.

With Can-Am ATVs, side-by-side vehicles and roadsters, BRP is carrying on a long tradition of conquests. More than 30 years ago, the world discovered the Can-Am brand through revolutionary motocross bikes. BRP has since withdrawn from that market, but the Can-Am legend and winning spirit live on - with passion and exhilaration.
