1931 Cashman is founded in Las Vegas, Nevada by Jim Cashman with the sale of six tractors to the Hoover Dam Project.
1961 Cashman expands to include northern Nevada and opens a facility in Reno.
1981 Reno Service department expands.
New Las Vegas facility opens.
Elko store opens.
1987 Major service contract and first large truck sales to Round Mountain Gold Corporation fosters the opening of a Round Mountain location.
1988 Elko facility doubles in size.
Cashman receives Caterpillar's first annual Quality Improvement Award.
Reno warehouse moves to a 30,000 square foot facility.
1990 Reno Service department expansion occurs.
Las Vegas facility expands.
1991 Cashman delivers Nevada's first 994 Wheel Loaders - one of the largest loaders in the world.
1995 MaryKaye Cashman takes on the role of Chairman of the Board.
1999 Cashman achieves World Class certification for its mining rebuild facility, recognizing it as one of the best component rebuild operations in the world.
2001 Cashman celebrates its 70th anniversary.
For the second time, the company achieves World Class certification for its Reno mining facility.
2002 Cashman becomes the western dealership for the Tesmec line of trenching equipment.
2003 Cashman is named Caterpillar's #1 dealership in the U.S. for Compact Construction Equipment sales.
For the third cosecutive year, the company's mining rebuild facility receives Cat's exclusive World Class certification.
2004 Cashman's Reno facility makes history by completing the first ever 994 Wheel Loader Cat-certified rebuild.
Cashman acquires Spectra Lasers, LLC, a new division of the company dedicated to lasers and GPS.
Parts, sales, and power divisions win the Gold Dealer Excellence Award from Cat.
2005 Cashman's Las Vegas Power Solutions moves to a new location, expanding operation.
The company as a whole, as well as parts, sales, and power, win the Gold Dealer Excellence Award from Cat.
2006 Cashman turns 75!
Cashman opens a rental store in Carson City.
Cashman receives 5 Star Contamination Control award from Caterpillar.
Cashman breaks ground on a Habitat for Humanity house.
Cashman's Power Solutions wins Cat's Gold Dealer Excellence Award for the third consecutive year, upgrading the accomplishments to Platinum.
2007 Cashman breaks ground on new headquarters in Henderson in conjunction with SH Architecture, Burke & Associates, and the City of Henderson.
Cashman's Power Solutions wins Cat's Gold Dealer Excellence Award for the fourth consecutive year, upgrading the accomplishment to Platinum.
Cashman's Power Solution division acquires CPS, LLC, an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) company.
2008 Cashman celebrates the dedication of the Southern family's Habitat for Humanity home, built in part by Cashman Employees.
Cashman expands in through the opening of a new parts facility in Elko connected to Cat and Newmont.
Cashman Power Solutions and Rental Store move into new corporate headquarters.

2009 Cashman celebrates the grand opening of LEED certified new corporate headquarters.
New rental store is opened in North Las Vegas.
Cashman's new headquarters becomes the largest Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Gold designated building in Nevada, receiving its official LEED Gold designation from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
